What we believe?

[We] believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell.

The third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

[We] believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.

We Value

Close-Knit Community

Safe Family Connected Generous

  • A safe place - a place that feels home. We are love Jesus and each other; the two go hand in hand.
  • To love each other is to know each other. To know each other is to spend time eating, playing, praying and sharing our 'stuff'.
  • We are family, meaning we stand together in crisis, and we all have 'jobs' that help us to function.
  • We are generous to each other with our time, prayer and resources.
  • We are family friendly. Children are not 'out of sight out of mind'.
  • Everyone needs to be connected with others who care enough to offer support, to sensitively say something when you're off track.

Real

Transparent Vulnerable Accountable

  • Natural, normal, down to earth
  • Leaders that talk about their flaws creating permission to be open about ours.
  • A Christian life that works 24/7 not just on Sundays
  • Dressing up in your Sunday best and putting on a front is not us. We know we are all broken but together we are becoming what God intends

Innovative and Involving

Not the same old

  • We come to give not just get
  • We try alternative ways of connecting with God and with each other
  • God is creative and our gifts will reflect that
  • Prayer weekends are vital, reminding us to stay God-focused
  • Our worship draws from past traditions as well as the present. It touches all our senses

Outward - Show God to the World

  • Our close together living and love for each other is in itself a great magnet, but it's not enough. We look for ways to engage with people in need and organizations already serving the community. We go out.
  • Blessed by God to be a blessing to those around us
  • We aim to show what God is like and what great church life is like, to the people in our networks.
  • We show we care by serving others in practical ways that meet their needs.
